PARENT/CHILD OPTIS

CHILD AGE: 4-6
SCHEDULE: Monday and Thursday, 6 pm-8 pm
DURATION: Two Weeks
PUBLIC: $215   MEMBER: $150

Parents, this is your chance to learn to sail with your child, who is between 4-6 years old. This class allows parents and children to experience sailing for the first time together. No prior knowledge is necessary for parents as they learn how to sail with their child in Optimist sailboats. Students are guided by an MSC instructor, learning basic sailing skills and gaining confidence on the water. Students are not guaranteed to be on the water each day. If the wind is too strong, there’s fun learning onshore with games, stories, songs, and more!

The fee covers both parent and child. Only the child needs to be registered.

Note: The OPTIMIST PRAM sailboat is a small boat that requires bending down/crouching, stepping in and out, and getting your feet wet.
