FAMILY KEELBOAT

CHILD AGE: 3+
SCHEDULE: Tuesdays  3:30 PM- 5:30 PM
DURATION: Two Days 
If a make-up class is needed due to weather, MSC will work with course participants to reschedule to a day that works for the majority of the class. 
PUBLIC: $100 per sailor   MEMBER: $70 per sailor

The Family Keelboat Class is designed to introduce sailing to the whole family, ages 3 and up. This class allows the entire family to experience sailing for the first time together. No prior knowledge is necessary for any family members, as they learn to sail with an instructor on Ensign sailboats. The majority of the course is spent on the water learning the basic concepts of boat rigging, boat handling, and sailing theory.  

The fee is per person (child or adult) taking the class. Register each family member individually.

Each boat can hold up to five adults and kids. You may have up to 4 kids per parent/guardian. Smaller family groups of 3 or less may be paired together in the same boat.
