Description

ADULT INTRO TO LASERS

SCHEDULE: Monday and Thursday 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
DURATION: Two weeks
If a make-up class is needed, MSC will work with course participants to reschedule to a day that works for the majority of the class.
PUBLIC: $350 MEMBERS: $245
PREREQUISITES: Adult 420 or Keelboat Class. Students should feel confident with their sailing ability in a variety of conditions.

Interested in learning how to sail a Laser? These dynamic and challenging boats are a blast (once you learn how to rig them). This class is designed to get you comfortable sailing solo on one of the most popular boats in the world. This small group setting is ideal for individualized attention and instruction.

Students are expected to already know the basics of sailing and have the physical fitness and coordination needed to skipper these sometimes demanding boats. Sailors need to be comfortable in the water because we will practice capsize recovery.
