Description

ADULT INTERMEDIATE 420

SCHEDULE: Monday and Thursday 6:00 - 9:00 PM
DURATION: Two weeks
If a make-up class is needed, MSC will work with course participants to reschedule to a Monday or Thursday that works for the majority of the class.
PUBLIC: $350 MEMBER: $245
PREREQUISITES: Beginning 420 or recent small boat sailing experience

This class is for students who have already completed our Beginning 420 sailing class or have previous small-boat sailing experience and want to learn more. The small group instruction will focus on preparing you to be confident sailing the 420 in medium and heavy winds.

Students will learn more advanced on-the-water boat handling, sail theory, and an introduction to racing.

Students will receive the US Sailing textbook "Learn Sailing Right! - Intermediate Sailing", to help reinforce the concepts taught in class.
