ADULT LEARN TO RACE

SCHEDULE: Tuesday and Friday, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
DURATION: Two weeks
PUBLIC: $240 MEMBERS: $170
PREREQUISITES: Adult 420 or Keelboat Class. Students should feel confident with sailing ability in a variety of conditions.

Are you ready to put your sailing skills to the test and join the exhilarating world of sailboat racing? The Adult Learn to Race class introduces sailors to racing rules, race strategy, reading the wind, maximizing boat speed, and advanced boat handling skills in a fun and hands-on environment. Students will participate in practice races and drills to develop racing skills, and then compete in Calhoun Yacht Club races.

Sailors will use Ensigns, 420s, or Lasers
